step1

View yum configuration

vim /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo

step2

Add a comment to the mirrorlist in the original configuration, and delete the comment from the baseurl-take base as an example, make the same modification for the others

[base]
name=CentOS-$releasever - Base
#mirrorlist=http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch=$basearch&repo=os&infra=$infra
baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos/$releasever/os/$basearch/
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-6

step3

Found the $releasever in the configuration file, so first check whether the $releasever can get the corresponding version

[root@hadoop1 yum.repos.d]# lsb_release -a
LSB Version:    :base-4.0-amd64:base-4.0-noarch:core-4.0-amd64:core-4.0-noarch:graphics-4.0-amd64:graphics-4.0-noarch:printing-4.0-amd64:printing-4.0-noarch
Distributor ID:    CentOS
Description:    CentOS release 6.8 (Final)
Release:    6.8
Codename:    Final

Found that there is no problem in obtaining the version number

It will still report an error at this time

https://vault.centos.org/6/extras/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"
Trying other mirror.

The baseurl link http://mirror.centos.org/centos/ has no resources

centos mirror

Reconfigure the resource path https://vault.centos.org/6.8/

Reconfigure the resource path

step5

Modified configuration

# CentOS-Base.repo
#
# The mirror system uses the connecting IP address of the client and the
# update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# geographically close to the client. You should use this for CentOS updates
# unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the mirrorlist= does not work for you, as a fall back you can try the
# remarked out baseurl= line instead.
