We use VSCode on the local desktop to remotely connect to the folder on the server for daily development work. The following process is required:
1. VSCode install plug-in Remote Development;
2. Click on the remote resource manager, click on the
+ sign to open the config file, Host is the name of the remote server (freely defined), Host Name fills in the IP address of the remote server, User fills in the user name to log in to the remote server;
3. Place the mouse on the Host name that appears under SSH TARGETS, right-click, choose to connect to the remote server in the current window or a new window, and enter the password as prompted to connect.
During use, occasionally, when the computer screen is turned off or the network is disconnected and then reconnected, the remote connection fails and an error is reported.
The error message is
Could not establish connection to “xxxxx”. The process tried to write to a nonexistent pipe.
